Share your view (COD)

by Talking Divas,

Hello all, since I have an online shopping blog myself, I really have a few question in mind and hope you guys can answer me this sincerely. No matter you are the buyers, sellers, or reviewers, simply hit the 'comment' button down this post and tell me. Or you can email me diva-madness@live.com to tell me about your view.

1) Do you think it is appropriate to charge RM2 to RM6 (depends on the place) for COD? If not, why? or you have another suggestion in mind?
2) Do you think it is appropriate to ask the buyer pay for certain amount, say 30% of the item 1st before COD? Just to avoid back out case like what had mentioned by one of the lady here.

Thank you!

Bad experience

Shared by Jessica Wong,

" I owned a blog shop that selling clothes and bags. I received an order from a girl who named herself Eva. As usual, she arranged a COD with me in KLCC. I had waited her for about 1 hours but she never showed up. Then i tried to called her but she off the phone. I was so furious because I know it was a last min back out case. No choice, i went back and blacklisted her name in my blog. One day i browse through some online shopping blogs and found this email address that Eva gave me. She is one of the shopping blog owner. I don't have to say much here, i hope what i guess is not true. If it is true, i really hope the blog owner herself should be ethical since people that is buying from you has trust in you."

Bad experience

Shared by Doris Chang,

" I do not know how many of you tried online shopping thing before but the first time i tried, i had encountered a not so happy experience. The seller of one particular blog agreed to do COD with me in 1U shopping mall. I went there and she was there waiting for me. It gave me a very good impression because they are punctuate. Then i happily got my items and paid them too. I checked the dress that i bought in the shopping mall and it was ok. When i reached home and checked carefully, i saw the dress looks really old and had washed for a few times. So i asked the seller and she said the dress was brand new. I was so sad. I just want to tell the online seller that honesty is the best policy. If you want to sustain your business, you really depend a lot on the return customers. I know i will never go back and buy from that online shop again"

Experience near the LRT station: Be aware

Shared by Sandy Ng, student.

" I just want to share with you my experience. I pass by majid jamek lrt station the other day after class. I stood there to wait for a friend. I was wearing skirt at that time. I heard some sound like 'ka chat' (like hp camera sound) behind so i turn back to see who is taking picture. Then I saw an Indian man talking on the phone, he was approximately 40++. So i didn't suspect anything and turn back. I heard the sound for the second time so i turn back again, i saw the old man quickly hold his phone to pretend he was talking on the phone. Then I felt something worng so i walked to the other side of the road. I didn't noe what happened by then. After that i turn back then only i saw the place that i stood just now was near the staircase, i tink the man tried to take the picture of those ladies that are wearing skirt when they go up the staircase, or he is trying to take the pic of mine. Anyways, hope you girls be extra careful when you go to that area because i heard a lot of crimes were committed over there nowadays."
